14 years ago today, we lost buckley.

the voice of a flippin' angel, jeff buckley (30) accidentally drowned in the mississippi river 14 years ago (today), may 29, 1997. often celebrated / cited / compared to, there was only one jeff buckley. a humongous fanboy, i saw jeff two years before his untimely death at SDSU's backdoor (with soul coughing). in addition to the concert poster, i've included (above) my favorite jeff buckley cover : the smiths' the boy with the thorn is his side.
