attended the thom yorke show (monday / oct. 5) at the orpheum. an amazing evening full of : reconnecting with family / friends, an exchange with FLEA, and FRONT ROW tickets in a historic los angeles theater. believe the hype, the show was ridiculous. thom sang like an angel (and, danced like a sprite.) simply, he was in a great space. a red hot chili peppers fan of the mid 80s / early 90s, i have NEVER seen flea so comfortable, grooving and vibing on stage (in full artist mode.) his bass work > impeccable. there were times when thom / flea were jamming together, and i was afraid...

with FRONT row tickets to thom yorke at the orpheum theater (10/5,) needless to say, i'm beyond excited < rivals christmas morning as a kid. in preparation for the gig, thom and his band (with FLEA on bass) played a warm-up gig at the echoplex, in los angeles. with a capacity of just over a hundred, attendees included rick rubin, muse, zach de la rocha, spike jonze, dangermouse, daft punk, and my first radio producer, megan. the setlist included his entire solo record, the eraser, and four NEW songs. iphone 3GS' and flips were rolling, and a collection of videos have been posted...
