after 13 years, canes bar&grill, in mission beach, is closing. a grease fire did not take down the venue (in july,) it was a failed lease extension. apparently, the “landlord,” who also owns the wavehouse, is looking to expand his reach on oceanfront walk (to include a LIVE music venue.) makes sense, however, bye-bye canes… [...]
