san diego's rafter roberts (of rafter) + UK's simon lord (of simian) = roberts & lord / eponymous. roberts & lord met on myspace (??) in 2010. an instant / furious connection, their transatlantic relationship flourished into a new album full of fuzzy, FUN, electro-indie-pop jams. here's how the recording worked : (1) backing music was recorded on a 4-track tape machine at roberts' san diego studio.
