with a BIG swell in town, my homie BIRD (@birdssurfshed) hit BIG rock / la jolla + limped away with 12 stitches around his BIG toe.

not a great white shark, but his surfboard leash ripped through his toe.

following a rescue by “monster”, BIRD rests on bench with mangled foot.

before receiving 12 stitches, BIRD snaps a bloody photo of the damage. EWWWW …
