YIKES, a machine pistol (MAC-10) + several rounds of ammunition were recovered from Children’s Pool / La Jolla, Tues, Aug 9th.
Spotted in 3 feet of water at 12:15 p.m., officers secured the area + a police diver recovered the weapon and 44 assorted bullets — a police diver in 3 feet of water ??
Investigators impounded the MAC-10 + are searching for the owner (via the serial number) of the assault weapon.
My theory : the seals are fighting back …
