the cove: 1/23/10
the (la jolla) cove is usually a destination for swimmers, kayakers, and seals.
today, 1/23/10, it was owned by some of san diego’s best surfers.
RARELY does the cove break, but when it does, it produces some amazing surf.
today, it averaged between 12 – 17 feet. here are some pictures, i shot (click to enlarge) :

holy cow that's amazing. I've never seen the cove like this before.
