maybe i’m a tad biased because she shares the same name as my son … or, because i LOVE her contributions with THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS … or, her sexy indie rock cred … whatever, i ADORE neko case’s soothing howl (vocals) / honest songwriting / and alt-country solo records.
the critically acclaimed FOX CONFESSOR BRINGS THE FLOOD was one of my favorites of 2006, and neko reappears on “the list” with her latest release, the brilliant MIDDLE CYCLONE (a commercial smash).
