needless to say, (as of late) there have been a lot of celebrity deaths.
the loss of writer/producer/director/music fan JOHN HUGHES hits me the hardest.
in short, i am the product of john hughes movies. in the 80s, he was the VOICE and SOUNDTRACK of my existence...and, inspired me creatively.

for those playing ball in the twitterverse, it's easy to get obsessed with your followers.
if you are concerned that twitter, specifically, your follow count, is taking over your life, here's a series of questions for you:
1. after following someone, if you are not followed back, do you unfollow that person?
2. when you lose a follower, do you ask yourself "was it something i tweeted."
3. during twitter maintenance, you lose a handful of followers, does panic ensue ?!?
4. have you recruited outside help/services to boost your follow count?
5. do you welcome SPAM, if it boosts...
