in an effort to promote literacy (and, music) during the 2009 Read Across America national celebration, i made a stop at san diego’s fay elementary with my buddy, mike (fm949’s halloran.)
armed with a copy of dr. seuss’ “green eggs and ham” and home-produced beats, mike adds a hip-hop element to the program.
genius idea, i couldn’t resist.

Awesome!
This is such a wonderful idea, a great way to get kids reading because it is fun. Kids love any sort of work disguised as fun. Congrats to everyone involved - great job!
