Dear Cantore,
How is life with two kids? I have a 3yr old son, and we are now expecting a second one in September. My son is so much fun, and I am sure the second will be great, but does it now take you twice the energy to keep up with them? Or are you on automatic?
Ralph.

yesterday, the family/i spent the morning at the world famous san diego zoo.
a lovely expedition, although (NOT a dig,) what makes the zoo "world famous?" i've wondered for years.
is it the heart-attack inducing hills? the price of a chicken wrap? or, the leopard that my son named "spotty?"
a stunning specimen, spotty welcomes a group visiting from arizona.
as the leopard retreats to HIS lair, we are given a "world famous" kodak moment.
question answered, it's spotty.

in an effort to promote literacy (and, music) during the 2009 Read Across America national celebration, i made a stop at san diego's fay elementary with my buddy, mike (fm949's halloran.)
armed with a copy of dr. seuss' "green eggs and ham" and home-produced beats, mike adds a hip-hop element to the program.
genius idea, i couldn't resist.
