last june, i was interviewed by the reader for "a story about local radio." to my surprise, it's on stands, 7/11 floors, and head shops NOW!
the sizable piece (included below,) entitled why local radio is no longer local, hits some interesting territory. should you choose to read, i wanted to offer the following:
1. i drive a truck.
2. although rumored, adam carolla did not replace me.
3. jason riggs resigned.
4. i wish nothing but the absolute best to those in/out of the radio industry.
5. regarding the past, i channel nothing but positive memories.

while mama is getting "prepped" for delivery, papa sits in a long, empty hallway.
on the adjacent chair, a weathered, two-year old issue of hot rod. not interested.
deep in thought? or, anxiety? both.
my mantra: "healthy mama, healthy baby."
in an attempt to calm the nerves ("attempt" being the operative word,) i pace the quiet, sterile hall. laminated tropical fish adorn the walls. on each angel and tang fish, an inspirational message.
SUCCESS, by (philosopher/poet) ralph waldo emerson, catches my attention...and, resonates.
prior to fatherhood, i defined success...
